After reading the 1st page of Finance for Dummies about 10 yrs ago I just gave up. I figured creative people like myself will never be able to learn basic financial concepts because it's way too complicated and THAT'S probably why they don't teach it in schools. If this sounds like you, you must read this book. I'm very grateful for the amount of time and research that has been put into this book to not only explain how money works but why it's not in the education system. Seriously, if I can understand it, anyone can.
I am 19 and I've grown up with some of this knowledge, thankfully due to amazing parents. But a lot of this is new, especially the fact that this book actually tells you what to do unlike most books regarding finances.
That, in itself deserves 5 stars.
What an eye opener! I learned more in a few hours than any financial knowledge from schools combined. I would recommend this simple to read and easy to understand book to anyone.
